Problem: The texts look ugly.

If there is default windows font (Arial) showing instead of a proper (medieval-looking) font, the game font was probably not installed. This could happen, for example, if you try to install the game to computer in other than administrator mode. Please use the administrator mode or contact the administrator in order to install the font.

Problem: The game crashes even before I get to see the main menu.

This is probably caused by not having the proper Windows Media Video 9 (WMV9) codecs installed. These are commonly found in Windows Xp (Service Pack 2). The codecs can be downloaded directly from the Microsoft Windows website at this adress
